GAAR is a foster group dedicated to saving, sheltering, and protecting animals
from the streets, shelters, and dangerous situations. Guardian Angel Animal
Rescue has no formal shelter; instead, volunteers take in surrendered,
abandoned, and/or abused animals into their homes and care for them until a
responsible, loving, and permanent home can be found.
Project Kitty Connect seeks to humanely and effectively reduce stray and feral (wild) cat overpopulation through the non-lethal method of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

Almost Home Animal Rescue League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding loving forever homes for homeless animals. We are strongly against the senseless act of euthanasia of adoptable animals and are continuously striving to make euthanasia a thing of the past.
Rainbow Feathers Bird Club and Rescue
Non Profit club with members throughout the tri-county area, single bird owners, or just thinking of getting a bird, families, breeders, exhibitors, all are welcome.
K-9 Stray Rescue Leagueis a state and federally licensed non-profit group formed in 1990 primarily to save dogs on euthanasia lists at local animal shelters. All most of them need is a loving, understanding, and responsible new home. We strongly encourage you to give these discards a "New Leash on Life" by adopting from a local or county shelter, a humane society, or an organization like ours.
GreyHeart Greyhound Rescue and Adoption of Michigan is devoted to the rescue and adoption of the retired racing greyhound. It is our objective to place as many greyhounds as possible into responsible, loving homes and educate the public regarding the suffering and consequences of greyhound racing.
House of Critters Animal Rescue
House of Critters Animal Rescue is a no-kill non-profit organization that relies on donations and adoption fees to help save homeless animals. Our volunteers cover most of Southeast Michigan.
Furry Friends Rescue is a Non-Profit, all volunteer, foster based Animal Rescue in the Brighton, Michigan area. We rescue homeless animals, take care of their medical and emotional needs, including spay/neuter, and then find them a loving home.
Michigan Ferret Rescue & Adoption Network
M-FRAN's mission is to rescue any ferret that is unwanted, lost, mistreated, abused, or abandoned.
Rescued ferrets are placed in safe, clean havens and given medical care until adoption.
